Physical Description of Crystal:
Apache Tears is a round and black colored stone. Folklore suggests that these were created during the war of 1870, in Southern Arizona, between the US and the Apache Warriors. The United States Army showed no mercy, slaughtering families. The Apache Warriors were found at a cliff, instead of being captured, the 75 Apache Warriors chose to ride their horses off a cliff. When their families found out about the tragedy, they cried. As their tears hit the ground, Apache Tears were formed. Apache Tears are a variety of Black Obsidian found only in Southwest US, formed by volcanic activity. Apache Tears are mostly commonly found in small pebble sizes but can be found up to 2 inches in diameter.
